World's First Invisible Library Opens Doors... or Does It?

Universe OI61CP: PARAFIELD CITY, Sep 25, 2023 — In an announcement that's left both avid readers and casual observers scratching their heads (and occasionally walking into walls), the Institute of Unseen Arts has declared the inauguration of the world's first Invisible Library.

Touted as "the ultimate reading experience for the imagination," the Invisible Library is located in the heart of Parafield City - at least, according to the coordinates provided. Visitors are asked to wear special spectacles, not to read the books but to avoid bumping into the shelves!

The library, curated by the eccentric art and book collector Dr. Clara Mistwood, houses a vast collection of "unseen" literature.

"It's all about feeling the story rather than reading it," explained Mistwood. "It makes tangible the intangible essence of storytelling."

Guests have reported a unique tactile experience. One visitor commented, "I reached out, and it felt like I was touching the edge of a book, but there was nothing there. Yet, when I 'opened' it and 'read,' I was flooded with emotions and images in my mind."

The children's section, however, does come with a twist. "Kids have a natural ability to see the unseen," Dr. Mistwood remarked. Hence, the junior section is filled with floating illustrations that only become visible to those below a certain age.

Yet, not everyone is sold on the idea. Traditional book lovers argue that the experience is merely an overpriced walk in an empty room. Some skeptics even claim they've seen the library's "janitor" - just a man with a feather duster, dancing around and pretending to clean.

As the debate about the Invisible Library rages on, one thing is clear: whether it's a groundbreaking venture or just a flight of fancy, it's certainly made its presence (or absence) felt.
